If you want to post about your copybot viewer, go create your own subreddit. But if you want to post links where people can download copybot viewers that enable content/ip theft? Go away, we don't want you here. If you want to have a discussion ABOUT the state of copyright law as it pertains to SL, that's one thing. None of the above is a good reason to allow such content here. Or call it entrapment: as they dangle the tantalizing cookie of 'you can take anything for free, be unstoppable, be a pirate', hoping to tempt some SL user to try and log in with copybot, and suddenly they get banned. Why post them to the Second Life subreddit? Or call it trolling: because the poster is looking to stir up a flame war 'for the lulz'. But copybot viewers are against the SL terms of service, and reddit isn't supposed to be used for promoting illegal activities.Ĭall it off-topic if you like: posts linking to viewers that can't legally be used on Second Life.
